ST. Andrew Academy
Principal's Welcome Letter

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Welcome to St. Andrew Catholic Academy of Bridgeport. We work hard to foster a family-like environment within our school community. Compared to other schools in the Bridgeport area we are a small faith based school community. We know and cherish every child and family. We offer a challenging and Faith filled program of study. Our children learn to read, write and do math successfully. More importantly, we teach every person that they are a beloved child of God. We celebrate the Catholic faith tradition as a basic part of our everyday experience here at school. Our school community offers many opportunities for families to gather and have fun. Each month our Home School Association (HSA) offers a different activity. Popsicle Social, Halloween: Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving Feast, Breakfast with Santa are just a few of our events. Our graduates typically go on to Catholic High Schools in the area. We get feedback from those schools that our students are very well prepared and successful. We have much to offer your family and look forward to your participation in our community. Parents are our most important partners in education and building a Christian Community.
Take care and God Bless,
Mr. Gene Holmes, Principal
