Dear Friends,

It is my joy to welcome you to St. Augustine Academy, a proud campus of the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport where children receive far more than an excellent education.  Rooted in faith, truth, and love, this is a place where every child is known by name and cherished as the unique child of God he or she is.

At St. Augustine Academy, our work is bigger than academics alone and Christ stands at the center of everything we do. St. Augustine wrote that our hearts are restless until they rest in God, and that same longing for truth and goodness is what every child carries into the classroom. In his spirit, we are committed to building a community of one heart and one soul, cor unum et anima una, bound together by truth, unity, and love. Here our students pray together, serve together, and learn together, forming both mind and soul, so that they leave us as young people of faith, intellect, and integrity.

 

Ours is a small, family-like school, and that is its strength. Every child, from every background, is welcomed and celebrated as God's own.
