In 2013, the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport launched a program where a sponsor could help subsidize the cost for a student to attend our school by providing tuition assistance. What began with 11 donors sponsoring 11 students has grown exponentially through the years, yet so has the need of our families. Today, we educate nearly 900 students on four campuses and 96% of our families cannot afford our annual tuition of $5,520, so we must raise more than $3 million for need-based financial assistance this year.

While the state pays over $19K to educate each Bridgeport Public School student to achieve their results, it costs us $8K to produce our superior results and we get $0 per-pupil assistance from the state.

By becoming a sponsor, you not only provide financial support to a student in need, you also represent the confidence a child requires in order to succeed through elementary school and beyond. 85% of children enrolled in our Academy come from families living at or below the federal poverty line. Yet we teach our students from the earliest of ages that they are more just a statistic.

Partial sponsorships are available for $2,500 per year.
