Continuous Enrollment
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does Continuous Enrollment work?
Each year, communication will be sent in December reminding families of Continuous Enrollment and the Opt-Out process. If your student is returning to campus for the 2022-2023 year, the only thing you need to do is complete a 2022-2023 FACTS Grant and Aid application if you would like financial assistance. Your tuition payment plan will automatically roll over to the new school year. If you know you will be moving and your student is not able to return, please complete the opt-out form on the website so that your space can be given to the next family on the waitlist. If you are uncertain if you are returning or not, please mark “uncertain” on the form and let us know the reason.
What is the procedure for letting The Catholic Academy of Bridgeport know that a student will not be re-registering for the next school year?
Please let the school know as soon as possible that your student will NOT be re-registering by completing the Opt-Out form. Please be aware that if we don’t receive the Opt-out form, your student will be re-enrolled and the non-refundable registration fee of $75 will be charged. If you have any concerns, please contact your school principal.
What is the re-registration fee?
The re-registration fee is $75.00 per student. The re-registration fee will be applied to your current FACTS account, breaking it into three payments of $25 in January, February and March. You also have the option of paying the fee in cash or check at one of the school offices.
Payment of this fee reserves your student’s space in our classrooms. Any billing concerns related to this fee can be addressed with Angela Mantero, Tuition Manager/Enrollment Coordinator (amantero@catholicacademybridgeport.org)
How will I be notified what the tuition is going to be for future years?
Tuition rates for the following school year are determined by the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport Board of Directors in January 2022. Tuition rates will be communicated by email. Tuition payment plans will begin in July 2022, after financial assistance has been awarded.
When can I apply for tuition assistance?
If you want to be considered for financial assistance in 2022-2023, you must submit a new FACTS Grant & Aid application. FACTS Grant & Aid applications DO NOT roll over into following years. There is an application fee of $30 charged by FACTS for processing and verifying an application for aid. The deadline for applications is March 31.
I will be applying for tuition assistance, what if I do not know what my tuition will be?
The Tuition Assistance Committee will begin to evaluate financial aid applications as soon as they are complete in FACTS. The earlier you apply, the earlier you will be notified of your final tuition amount for the year. The tuition charges and financial assistance awards will be posted to your tuition payment plan by June 1, 2022. No payments will be charged to your bank account or credit card on file for 2022-2023 until July 2022, after you have received your financial assistance award and accepted it. FACTS will charge a one time $45 fee when your tuition payment plan is finalized after June 1, 2022.
What do I need to do if I am enrolling a sibling of a current student?
If you are enrolling a new sibling, please complete a new student application online for that child using this link: https://forms.rediker.com/catholicacademy. The registration fee for both the new student and current student(s), will be applied through FACTS.
